The heart of the town is the lively Mall Road, with shops, cafes and street food. Nearby viewpoints such as Kashmir Point and Pindi Point offer wide mountain views, while Patriata (New Murree) is famous for its chairlift and cable car above the forest.
Murree is also a good base for nearby hill stations and forest areas such as Bhurban and Lower Topa. Summers are cool and green, and winters often bring snow, which draws large crowds, so planning ahead is wise.
