Climb to Mushkpuri Top, one of the most popular day hikes in Galiyat. The trail starts near Dunga Gali and winds through pine forest to a summit with views of the Pir Panjal range and, on clear days, the Kashmir mountains.
The trek is moderate and suits beginners with basic fitness, as well as families with older children and hiking groups. A local guide leads the way, and the day ends with tea and a relaxed drive back.

Depart Rawalpindi and Islamabad early in the morning and drive to Dunga Gali (about 2.5 to 3 hours). After a short briefing, begin the trek through pine forest to Mushkpuri Top (about 2 to 3 hours uphill). Enjoy the views and a rest at the summit, then descend by the same route. After tea, drive back and arrive in Rawalpindi and Islamabad in the evening
